QuickBooks Desktop

QuickBooks Desktop connects through the QuickBooks Web Connector using the QBXML SDK. A configuration file you download from the portal tells the Web Connector to poll for new invoices and hand them to PI Fiscal for fiscalisation.

How it works

The Web Connector runs on the machine hosting your QuickBooks company file. On a schedule it requests new invoices as QBXML, PI Fiscal maps and fiscalises them, and the fiscal number is written back for your invoice template.

Setup

1. Open Integrations → QuickBooks Desktop and download the .qwc file.
2. In QuickBooks, open the Web Connector and Add an Application, selecting the .qwc file.
3. Paste the connector password shown in the portal.
4. Set the auto-run interval and let it poll for new invoices.
