How do I register a device with ZIMRA?

A device is the fiscal identity that signs your documents and holds the FDMS counters. Register one per till or per branch as needed.

Before you register

Make sure the TIN, VAT number and the four-part address match ZIMRA exactly. Mismatches here are the top cause of registration failures.

Steps

1. Open Devices → Add device and pick the branch.
2. Give it a recognisable name (for example "Front till").
3. Save. PI Fiscal generates the device certificate and registers it with FDMS.
4. Wait for the status to show Registered, then open a fiscal day.
